One of the best forms of recognition for any police department employee is a compliment from a person who's life they have touched. The Federalsburg Police Department encourages commendations for its personnel who perform their duties admirably. Commendations can be in the form of an appreciative phone call to the employee and/or the employees supervisor. Also a written letter of appreciation is a great way to praise an officers work.
